TKJ Standing TurntableA chance meeting with the wonderful ceramic artist Magdalene Odundo at the International Ceramics Fair, Aberystwyth in 2019 led me to this wheel. I was demonstrating The McMeekin wheel at the event and our discussion opened my mind to the possibility of a stripped back version of a momentum wheel. A wheel for hand builders that could turn on its own momentum and whose height could be adjusted as a pot grows.

For increased stability, especially when fully extended, the turntable has adjustable feet. These can be added or removed as required or can be used to permanently fix the turntable to the floor (or to add wheels if required). The turntable has been tested for loads up to 100kg. |
